My stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo was truly lovely. The combination of traditional Japanese hospitality and modern comforts made every moment special. The only downside was the limited breakfast options, but the onsen experience was a highlight.

Rooms
10.0
My room was stunningly spacious with an exquisite Japanese bath that offered deep relaxation. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave each morning.
Service
9.0
The staff was not only friendly but also extremely helpful. They assisted with dining reservations and transportation itineraries without being overbearing.
Location
8.0
Located right in the financial district, which can feel a bit dull. However, it's just a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Station, making it easy to explore the city.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast options were quite limited. I appreciated the room service, but I recommend exploring dining outside the hotel for a more extensive menu.
Facilities
10.0
The communal pantry on each floor was well-stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks. The on-site onsen was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

5.4/10

My stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo was an very nice blend of tranquility and luxury right in the heart of the city. The traditional Japanese inn vibe was refreshing, and the attention to detail in service was unmatched. However, I noticed some cleanliness issues in the room that left me a bit disappointed. Overall, it was a unique experience that I would recommend with a caveat about room maintenance.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and beautifully furnished with a cool feature of a TV hidden behind a mirror. There was also this amazing glassed-in bathroom that could turn opaque, but I was a bit let down by the cleanliness as it wasn’t tidied properly during my stay.
Service
9.0
The service here was truly really good, making me feel like royalty. They were super helpful, even helping me send postcards late at night. I just wish they were a little more attentive to housekeeping.
Location
9.0
Located in the financial district, the hotel was strategically positioned for easy access to Tokyo Station and the Otemachi subway. Plus, the common area offered complimentary snacks and drinks all day, which I totally appreciated!
Dining
10.0
Breakfast was a real treat, served in my room and I got to choose between Japanese and western options. The dishes were mouth-watering, making each morning something to look forward to.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had great facilities, including dry cleaning services and a lovely rooftop onsen which I absolutely loved. Just wish the cleanliness was on par with the rest of the services.

My stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo was an very nice blend of traditional elegance and modern comforts. The serene atmosphere, especially the rooftop onsen, was a highlight. However, I faced some challenges with dining reservations that could have been better communicated.

Rooms
10.0
The room was spacious, beautifully designed with a modern Japanese style. I loved the hidden TV behind the mirror and the elegant furnishings. The common area on our floor, stocked with complimentary drinks and treats, added to the comfort.
Service
9.0
The staff were simply the most polite people I've ever encountered. They were super friendly and always eager to help with any requests, from breakfast arrangements to transport.
Location
8.0
Located in the heart of the financial district, it was just a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Station. This made getting around the city incredibly easy, even if the area itself felt a bit dull.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were limited and I found the breakfast menu somewhat simplistic. I highly recommend booking dinner ahead of time, as we missed out due to lack of availability.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were excellent, particularly the onsen on the rooftop. It provided a tranquil escape after a day of sightseeing, but I would have appreciated clearer instructions for using other services.

5.8/10

My stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo was quite enjoyable overall. The gorgeous traditional Japanese interior and the calming atmosphere provided a unique retreat in the heart of the city. However, the dining options were quite limited, and the location, while convenient, felt a little out of the way at times.

Rooms
10.0
The executive triple room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. I loved the traditional tatami flooring and received lovely kimonos to wear during my stay. The room made for a cozy family experience.
Service
6.0
The service had its highs and lows. While the staff were polite, they sometimes struggled with English and efficiency could improve, especially with room service orders which took longer than expected.
Location
8.0
The location was central and quiet, making it easy to explore Ginza and Tokyo Station. However, it felt a bit removed from the vibrant action of the city at times.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were limited, with room service being pricey. Breakfast was a letdown for me, offering only a simple tea with toast and not quite meeting my expectations during my stay.
Facilities
9.0
The communal tea rooms on each floor were a good touch, stocked with complimentary drinks and treats. The onsen was lovely and added a nice element to my stay.

5.6/10

My stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo was a blend of luxury and traditional Japanese hospitality. The onsen was a highlight, providing a relaxing escape after long days of exploring. However, some aspects fell short, like the limited dining options and occasional service hiccups.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms are beautifully furnished and feature comfortable beds. Hidden compartments and a stylish bathroom made the space feel elegant and functional.
Service
6.0
While some staff were helpful, the language barrier was frustrating at times. A few service delays and miscommunications also detracted from the experience. Not quite as professional as I expected.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in a perfect spot, just a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Station. It's nestled in a quieter area, ideal for exploring the Imperial Palace and its gardens.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were limited to in-room meals. The Japanese breakfast in particular was beautifully presented, but the lack of a communal dining space felt a bit isolated. Choices were a bit restricted.
Facilities
8.0
Facilities such as the onsen and lounge area were great. However, I wished for some more fresh fruit in the lounge to complement the snacks.
